Argentina. Tyco Security Products, a leader in video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection solutions, recently organized an event for customers in Argentina, in order to present the company's latest products in the Latin American region and ratify its commitment to the Argentine market.
Nearly 100 system integrators and distributors from Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay attended the event held in partnership with Intersec Buenos Aires 2012. The event provided customers and allied distributors with the opportunity to learn about several new product launches from Tyco Security Products' intrusion detection, access control and video surveillance brands.
As part of the event, customers were introduced to the Elpas brand, a leader in real-time location solutions. This technology, widely used in the market of health service delivery centers, is installed to monitor goods of great value, locate personnel or ensure the safety of patients and visitors. When integrated with Software House's C∙CURE 9000, this Elpas technology can be used to activate appropriate response protocols, such as door closing, in the event of any unauthorized movement of equipment or patients; or to initiate transmission of live video images in case of unauthorized attempts to enter restricted areas.
An important part of the event were the presentations that the company's executives made for the attendees on how Tyco Security Products is working to support system integrators and distributors in the Argentine market.
"Tyco Security Products is committed to the Argentine security market and we appreciate this opportunity to express, first hand, this commitment to our customers," said Carlos Mecca, sales director for Latin America.
Mecca kicked off the day's program with a few words of welcome. Eduardo Steves, regional sales manager, presented new products from the DSC and Sur-Gard brands, including the PowerSeries touch keyboard, designed for PowerSeries control panels. Cesar Cristal, sales and application engineer and trainer, spoke about the new product launches of the Software House, Kantech and American Dynamics brands, which include the ADTVR line of digital video recorders, with a multitude of functions, the unified video management system victor and the security and event management system C•CURE 9000.
Attendees also got to know, thanks to Dario Chernicoff, sales manager for Latin America, Visonic's Power G family of products. The day ended with a general presentation on "Unified Security Solutions: Trends and Challenges", by Claudius Bezerra, product marketing manager and technical trainer for Latin America.
