Argentina. The company Exologística plans to make a large investment in order to complete its electronic security processes, based on the concept of "concentric protection rings". This is the adoption of a video surveillance system by Internet protocol, through fixed cameras and domes for the perimeter and intramural visualization of its North, South and Esteban Echeverría logistics parks.
"The technology implemented is based on a management platform with a powerful rule generation engine for the automation of actions and multiple programmable camera tours. It is supported by the transmission of images by optical fiber and the visualization by means of IP cameras, with intelligent video analysis, "explains Carlos Landó, Security Manager of the logistics operator.
The convergence of the system facilitates multifunctional integration, by enabling the combination of video surveillance with applications such as alarms, access controls, fire detection or other security events. "It offers greater versatility and functional effectiveness, by expanding surveillance capabilities in the context of security tasks, in a very satisfactory cost-benefit ratio," says the executive.
In this way, Exologística is in a position to adopt an integrated and effective approach to proactively manage the emerging risks of the operation, in the midst of a dynamic and changing environment.
