Argentina. The town of Monteros, in Tucumán, awaits the imminent habilitation of a Police Monitoring Center that aims to help with the problem of insecurity that they have suffered for a long time. The installation of 20 cameras came in response to the claim made to the deputy governor, Regino Amado, who announced that they will begin to operate in the first days of September.
The equipment was placed in the microcenter and in the different accesses to the city, among other sectors. These actions, aimed at improving the safety of the population, also contemplate the problems that arise with those who drive while intoxicated.
The Monitoring Center, soon to be enabled, will operate in the municipal building. In addition, it will have 20 troops who will carry out surveillance tasks during the 24 hours and will be communicated with the mobiles of the local police station. Amado visited the place accompanied by the Minister of Citizen Security Mario López Herrera, Senator Sergio Mansilla, legislator Iván Llorent Dip and Police Chief Jorge Racedo, who were received by Mayor Alberto Olea.
In this context, the lieutenant governor warned: "the criminal acts are not going to disappear totally with this system, but they are going to be reduced, it will allow us to find those who commit crimes and even prevent these facts." He also announced that then will come the inauguration of the Concepción Monitoring Center, which will be the third in the south, since Aguilares has his own for two months.
