Peru. The mayor of the Municipality of Carmen de la Legua-Reynoso, Daniel Lecca, inaugurated the Citizen Security Observatory, implemented with 40 video surveillance cameras located at strategic points, in order to reduce crime rates in that Chalaco district.
This modern Monitoring Center has also been equipped with 50 smart alarms, a new system that will allow the neighbor, just by typing the key from his cell phone or landline and from wherever he is, to activate the alarm and report the occurrence of an assault, kidnapping, robbery, fire, emergencies, among other crimes.
Specialized personnel of the Observatory of Citizen Security of the municipality of Carmen de la Legua-Reynoso will record the activation of the intelligent alarm (composed of a siren, a circulina and a megaphone) and will report the occurrence to police officers (Central 105) and the Serenazgo for immediate intervention.
In this modern monitoring center, criminal occurrences by zones, schedules and modality of crimes will be analyzed in a statistical way, information that will then allow the elaboration of the first Map of the Crime of Carmen de la Legua-Reynoso, in order to design strategies and actions in the fight against crime.
In the First Observatory of Citizen Security of Carmen de la Legua-Reynoso, located in block 6 of Av. Elmer Faucett, six high-tech monitors have been installed, which have been interconnected to the 21 new video surveillance cameras and the 12 existing ones, in order to provide greater security and tranquility of the neighbors.
