Guatemala. IP-in-Action LIVE was held for the first time in Guatemala City on July 26, at the Radisson Hotel facilities and was attended by 13 world-leading exhibiting companies in IP technology and approximately 80 experts from the sector who throughout the day shared experiences, advances and new solutions applicable in video surveillance and access control.
IP UserGroup Latin America hosted the meeting that met the objective of demonstrating how modern techniques and practices can ensure that people, businesses and IT infrastructures are secure. The day included a complete program of seminars and conferences simultaneously in the Orchids and Toucans halls, also featured the exhibition of the latest launches of products and services of each of the companies.
It is the first time that the International Security Technology Forum, IP UserGroup, presents in Guatemala the IP-in- Action LIVE, which is aimed at all people interested in gaining practical experience and obtaining information from manufacturers of security solutions, as well as installers, integrators, consultants and end users who seek to keep up with new developments in the sector.
"The first meeting in Guatemala allowed us to cover a region in which we did not have a presence and with it we fulfilled once again the mission of strengthening the security market in Latin America," said Pablo Reyes, VP Operations of IP UserGroup Latin America.
Ecuador will host the next IP UserGroup Latin America event that will have within its programming to develop topics on technology and security. It will be held for the second time in the city of Quito, on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Dann Carlton Hotel.
