Andean Region. The Belden company is committed to the continuous support of its distribution channels to achieve the implementation of products and solutions appropriate to the requirements of its customers.
According to Helder Canales Rodríguez, Regional Manager LATAM North & Caribe of the company, "by the end of this year the goal is to grow 30%. The strategy, to continue attacking vertical markets through our main partners in the region."
He also stressed that the company reinforces its commitment to the continuous advice of its business partners, in order to consolidate its leadership and make greater penetration in the Latin American market.
It seems that there is still great growth in the region, especially in the lines of business managed by Belden. Within the industry, the part of Oil & Gas, mining and energy generation is increasing strongly; so much so that in the infrastructure part there is a strong growth of the Hotel industry, where it can offer an integral solution, both for the networking part and the Security part.
"Last year we grew by 60% compared to 2010, but by the end of this year the goal is to have a growth of 30% with respect to the numbers of 2011, and we are sure that we will fulfill it," said Canales, who also indicated that the strategy will be "to continue attacking vertical markets -Oil & Gas, Mining, Energy Generation, Wastewater, Food and Beverages, Manufacturing, Hotels, Clinics and Hospitals, Shopping Centers, among others, in a forceful way in the prescription and advice to end customers, helping them with the selection of the product for their application".
Currently in the region there are large business partners with whom a medium-term expansion is projected: Centro de Conectividad, Colombia, SAC Seguridad, Melexa S.A., and Anixter Colombia.
With these distribution channels, the company seeks to increase the number of points where the end user can approach to locate the equipment to suit them or the necessary Belden products.
