Mexico. The Belden company held a cycle of refresher seminars to train its sales engineers from all over Latin America.
The event, called College of Wire Knowledge 2012, addressed topics such as industrial solutions, structured cabling solutions, mission-critical industrial networks, eDesk training, solutions for security and automation.
The meeting, held at the Hacienda Cocoyoc Hotel, in the state of Morelos, Mexico, was also an opportunity to bring together the company's team and exchange opinions on the reality of the market, in addition to obtaining information on the new products that can be distributed in the different countries of the region.
In total, about 230 people from places such as Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and the Caribbean were present. "In this way, attendees shared their opinions about the approval that the brand has in all Latin American markets and the functionality of the products," explained belden representatives when talking about the importance of the meeting.
The training also included integration activities; there were, for example, two Mexican nights in which attendees could taste different national dishes and traditional tequila. Prizes such as LCD screens and audio equipment were also raffled, and a dance contest was held in which Costa Ricans won first place.
