Colombia. The new San Vicente de Paul Hospital in Rionegro, Colombia, located in one of the areas with the greatest export potential in the Andean Region, will offer the highest standards of care and safety for its patients, since under the accreditation of the Joint Commission International, it will have the Leed certification, as an entity committed to sustainability and the environment, in addition, it was declared a special permanent free zone.
In the building, after evaluating Axis video solutions, 217 native IP color fixed cameras were implemented. The Axis cameras used for this project have a fixed network for day and night vision with superior video quality, its focus assistant features, remote autofocus and pixel counter that simplify installation, the Axis P1343 network camera, is one of the best and most developed video surveillance cameras that will allow the full security of visitors to the modern hospital center.
In addition, the Automation and Control Systems of the Hospital are being supplied and installed by EBC Ingeniería and included subsystems such as the integration system through the EBI Software, fire detection and alarm system that includes 4 XLS3000 panels and remote announcers, fully integrated UL with EBI, and the access and security control system that includes controllers from the Honeywell STAR II line and a large number of peripherals. as proximity readers, they are part of the technology that complements the operation of the hospital.
The building has a system of supervision and control of basic services such as Lighting, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Electromechanical Systems, through a central controller and a large number of field controllers of the Honeywell Alerton line. Axis video surveillance devices will allow for greater security and control. Integration with third parties through drivers: Modbus, Bacnet, Lonworks and Opc.
Among the future applications that will be carried out in the hospital center, are the issues of energy saving, corporate integration and patient control, a whole system that integrates thanks to the network several functions applicable to the safety of patients and employees of the place.
