. During Secutech 2011, the security fair that took place in Taiwan last April, the Camera Excellence award was presented to the best in Hdcctv and IP HD/Megapixel technology in the world, in the fourteenth edition of the event that had 550 exhibitors from 20 nations.
A total of 25 cameras were specially selected, which were connected to a network of 16 ports 10/100/1000M Base-T Layer3 SNMP (except Hdcctv) and which were taken several images day and night in 1300∘K-9600∘K (0-20 lux) mode in normal environment maintaining 18-20 lux. The images were projected on an LCD monitor and evaluated by international visitors to the fair and by a group of judges from renowned industries.
International visitors rated the resolution of the images, competition under different image radios, night vision quality, lens performance, among others, while the judges rated details such as the bit and frame rate of the cameras.
