Mace Central Station, a subsidiary of Mace Security Int'l Inc., received Five Diamond certification from the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) after its operators completed the online training course that trains in effective communication techniques with their customers' communication centers.Morgan Hertel, vice president and general manager of Mace CS, said: "We have made large investments in technology, staff and programs over the past year to be at the forefront of monitoring industry sales."
This certification was achieved thanks to the fact that the operators of this company demonstrated their skill in the verification and reduction of false alarms, as well as in the continuous training.
Other aspects evaluated were adequate communication with public response centers such as 911; knowledge in electronic communication equipment and understanding of the codes and standards of Underwriters Laboratories -UL-, Factory Mutual -FM- and National Fire Protection Association -NFPA-.
