Argentina. The security of the houses of Justice of the Province of Buenos Aires has become a priority for the Judiciary, so that it has installed Securiton fire products to protect them. The Palace of Justice, in the city of La Plata, capital of the Province of Buenos Aires, inaugurated in 1918, and which houses 1,200 employees and serves 5,000 people a day, was equipped with a fire alarm detection system after its remodeling.
The building has the modular securiPro® alarm system, composed of four eight-loop 211 MCUs, which was installed controlling more than 1,000 multi-criteria detectors (temperature and smoke) SecuriStar STD 531; 15 SecuriRAS ASD 561-4 smoke extraction systems that control the four historic rooms, the interior of the five domes of the building, the library, the archives and the computer room. Two linear ADW 511 temperature systems monitor parking.
In addition, a FireVision® system reinforces the supervision of the computer room, being the first of its kind to be implemented in South America. Through the SLS-Pro® software, graphic management system, the building is monitored.
For the near future, it is expected that from the control room of the Palace of Justice, the SLS-Pro® will monitor 500 additional buildings located throughout the Province of Buenos Aires. Each of these buildings will have a SecuriPro® and an RMS interface installed.
The buildings of the San Nicolás Judicial Power, dating from 1906 and that of the Mercedes Judicial Power, inaugurated in 1908, have also been intervened by Securiton and have alarm systems, multi-criteria detectors, gas detectors, manual warnings, aspiration and linear detection systems, graphic software, evacuation through sirens and addressable strobe lights, among others.
