The company Network Video Technologies (NVT) was distinguished within the list of the 30 most important technological innovations of the year 2008, mention made last December by the prestigious magazine Security Sales & Integration.The award, presented by Scott Goldfine, editor of the publication, was given to the NV-1672 solution, an active receiver hub with DigitalEQ™ automatic equalization, which also eliminates any conjecture in the use of UTP cabling.
Goldfine commented that "with its automatic compensation and wiring distance adjustment, which prevents the image from flashing or conflicting with the camera's AGC (Automatic Gain Control), a problem with all the products that previously offered this feature, sending video by UTP has really become a simple 'plug and go'".
The 16-channel unit includes built-in distribution amplifiers, and even automatically corrects reversed polarity.
