F5 Networks Announces New Vice President of Sales for Latin America

Latin America. F5 Networks announces the appointment of Roberto Ricossa as Vice President of Sales for Latin America. Through this role at the company, Roberto will be responsible for developing and executing all aspects of Latin America's market strategy as well as its day-to-day operations.

His experience in sales, his relationship with channels, distribution and marketing, in combination with his extensive knowledge of the region, made him the most qualified to play this important role in F5 Networks. To facilitate his work in his new position, Roberto will have as his main center of operations the headquarters of F5 Networks in Miami, Florida and will report directly to John DiLullo, Executive Vice President of Sales worldwide.

With his addition to F5 Networks, the new executive contributes with a valuable and varied experience of almost 25 years in direct sales, channel sales and marketing strategies. In this regard, it is worth noting that prior to his incorporation, Roberto Ricossa held several positions with progressive responsibilities in the Business Networks division of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, as well as the Vice President of Sales of this company.

Roberto also held various positions at Avaya Communications, including Global Leader of Inside Sales and Senior Director of Marketing and Operations for Canal of the Americas. Prior to joining Avaya, he held several high-level sales and channel leadership roles at Nortel Networks and Anixter.

Other of Roberto's many accomplishments include the growth of more than 50% of Hewlett Packard Latin America's Enterprise Networking business over the past two years. This was able to be carried out despite the periods of economic turbulence in Latin America, together with the construction from scratch of a customer acquisition team for the SME industry, which was recognized as the best in its class.
