ISTC Announced Appointment of New Directors

Rafael Meza (izq.) y Mauricio Arriola (der.)Latin America. ISTC Corp announced the appointment of Rafael Meza as the new Director of Sales and Business Development for the Caribbean, United States, Central America, Mexico and Brazil.

In the same statement, the appointment of Mauricio Arriola as the new Director of Sales and Business Development for the Andean Region, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile was also announced.

With this choice, ISTC wants to continue growing at a steady pace while promoting the talent that the company has.

"It is a pleasure for me to announce the appointment of two people whom I hold dearly and in whom I have full confidence. As you already know, on June 15, a new position was opened at ISTC to look for the leader who will guide our steps from July 1st of this year. As a true believer in the opportunities and talent of ISTC's staff, I have decided to create two new positions, to replace the existing one," said the company's President and CEO, Augusto Pérez.

"These two positions will be the support of the different regions, these positions will be the Director of Sales and Business Development for the Caribbean, the United States, Central America, Mexico and Brazil and Director of Sales and Business Development for the Andean region, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile," concluded the President.

 

Who also indicated that "this method of work, we have implemented it previously, I am sure it is the right strategy to achieve even greater results. I want to emphasize that all ISTC Managers were considered to occupy these positions because all over the time we have worked together have shown me a high level of commitment and are deserving of opportunities like this." .

 

Rafael Meza has worked at ISTC since 2004, during this time he has worked on large projects for companies such as Grupo Rey in Panama, El Aeropuerto de Tocumen, La Zona Libre Americana in Costa Rica, among many others. His personality is worth noting, as he is a man who has always shown positive results thanks to his organization and strategic thinking.

 

Before joining this company, Rafael worked for manufacturers such as Tyco and Honeywell, in addition to serving two of the most prestigious universities in Colombia, Javeriana and Los Andes. This Engineer of Colombian origin has been recognized on several occasions for his sales records and remains in constant learning, as he has more than 10 certifications in his resume.

Since 2008 Mauricio was in charge of opening the ISTC office in Colombia and to this day he continues as the head of this office and the Andean region. He has also supported projects and closed deals with large companies such as RCN Television, Microsoft Colombia, Texas Petroleum Company among others. Mauricio has attended countless refresher and training seminars not only related to security systems and equipment but also to Sales, Management and Marketing skills.
