International. SCATI, a company specialized in intelligent security solutions, completes its sales force in the Spanish market with the appointment of telecommunications engineer Santiago Dacuña as the new Key Account Manager (KAM) & Business Development in the area.
The Spanish company reaffirms its position in the security sector, in which it landed almost 20 years ago and in which it has managed to gain a foothold as a benchmark in security in the Latin American market.
Dacuña joins the staff of this Aragonese company with a clear international vocation to consolidate the commercial project that the company has in Spain. Graduated in Telecommunications from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, he completed his academic training with an MBA in commercial management taught by the Instituto de Empresa Business School of Madrid. Dacuña's professional career began in the Southern Cone, where he worked as a Biomedicine Engineer at the Rio Grande Do Sul University in Brazil.
After his Brazilian experience Dacuña held different positions in the company France Telècom, and from its headquarters in Paris he made the leap to the world of video surveillance, to which he has been linked for seven years. Aware of the needs of public and private entities in terms of security, Dacuña incorporates his talent to the SCATI commercial team to "value SCATI video surveillance solutions in the face of the growing incursion of low-cost products in the Spanish market". S
According to Dacuña, working for SCATI allows "to propose global solutions to the needs of customers in a market, the Spanish, which is facing its recovery phase". He also hopes that over the next few months "we can return to talk about pre-2012 levels in the security sector."
SCATI's commitment to internationalization began in 2001 and since then the company's growth has been unstoppable, to the point that it currently has offices in Madrid and Barcelona (Spain), Bogotá (Colombia), São Paulo (Brazil) and Mexico City (Mexico), as well as commercial delegates in more than ten other countries.
