Argentina. Netcamara's new license plate recognition system, installed in the Retiro Terminal, allows monitoring the more than 4,000 buses and private vehicles that pass through the place daily, preventing cars unauthorized by the companies that operate there from entering.
In the same way, when installed in the parking areas, the system takes images of the entire front of the vehicles processing the license plate number and the time of entry and exit, in such a way that if a person loses the ticket, he can request the time he arrived to make the corresponding invoice.
For Martín Kryss, director of Netcamara, "this was a very important project, if you take into account that this is one of the largest terminals in the country, in which buses enter not only from Argentina, but from all over Mercosur".
The incorporation of this solution was achieved after TEBA, the company in charge of the concession of the terminal, installed a Netcamara solution together with the license plate recognition module (LPR), with which it registers the plates of vehicles, whether micro or private vehicles.
