Colombia. The municipality of Tenjo, on the outskirts of Bogotá, will house the new Siemens plant that had an investment of approximately US$100 million.This plant will export to 19 markets on the continent 75% of its products related to the energy, industry and health care sectors.
The multinational has chosen Colombia for this project due to its strategic location, the ease generated by trade agreements, legal stability, as well as the workforce and the potential for the development of road and port infrastructure in the country.
