Mexico. In the first half of 2009, the company Sagem Orga begins its operation in the Aztec country with an investment of three million dollars, as reported by Proméxico.
The German company, a member of the Safran group, will manufacture smart cards used in telecommunications, digital security and the aerospace industry, in addition to creating 30 specialized jobs.
Sagem Orga provides solutions for biometrics, electronic identification, passports, driver's licenses and contactless means of payment. It has production centers in Germany, China, Brazil, Russia, India.
Additionally, some companies from Turkey visited Mexico in order to learn about business opportunities in sectors such as steel, textiles, biotechnology, manufacturing and tourism, to enter the market of this country next year.
