Panama. The National Police acquired new surveillance cameras with an investment of 8,300 dollars, which was approved by the National Assembly of Deputies, in order to provide security to the areas that were not contemplated. This process will reach Colón and the part of the beaches of Panama. In the Metro Oeste sector there will be 135 cameras that include the corregimientos of Río Abajo, Ancón, Curundú, San Felipe, El Chorrillo, Santa Ana and the Amador area. And in the East Metro, 85 cameras will be installed, which include the corregimientos of Juan Díaz, Pedregal, San Martín, Tocumen and others that the police have not yet defined. For its part, in the North Metro there will be 35 cameras, benefiting the corregimientos of Las Cumbres, Chilibre and the road to the border with Colón. Another 40 cameras will also be placed at Metro East intersections.
