Mexico. In order to reinforce anti-terrorist surveillance, 3,092 cameras will be installed in mexico City's metro facilities, such as platforms, workshops, stations and places of confinement. Security is currently being reinforced through the 180 cameras that are in service to monitor the busiest stations.The first cameras began to be installed in October on line one, which runs from the Observatorio station to Pantitlán. This new security plan is reinforced with 380 elements of the Immediate Reaction Force of the Secretariat of Public Security of the Federal District.
