Motorola's new MC70 mobile equipment is the new version of the EDA (Enterprise Digital Assistant), equipped with Global Positioning System, GPS, which allows capturing and transmitting data in order to help companies in the tracking and management of some tasks in real time, in addition to the verification of the position of equipment or the same personnel that is located astir.
The MC70 is lightweight and ergonomic, facilitates total communication between users, indoors or outdoors, also has back-office systems that increase productivity and improve customer service. Additionally, the equipment uses SIRF III technology (GPS microcontroller chip with high sensitivity), providing the possibility of capturing barcode and signature data, as well as wide area connectivity with support for high-speed EDGE networks, 802.11a/b/g wireless networks and Bluetooth connectivity.
