The National Bank of the Army, Air Force and Navy, S.N.C (Banjercito), has put into operation an efficient centralized security system, to protect its branches nationwide, ATM machines, central offices, among other strategic facilities, against assaults and fraud. Banjercito's new security system allows a response to robberies in real time through digital video observed by trained personnel in a management monitoring center, located in its offices in Mexico City.The quality of the installed cameras of the Bosch brand, allows automatic adjustments of light compensation, management of dynamic ranges, etc. The high definition in its video quality, allows the necessary efficiency to identify suspects in cases of assault, robbery and fraud.
These cameras feature Bosch's proprietary technology, known in the financial sector as XF dynamic range.
Among the most important features of this technology are: 15-bit technology, Nightsense, Default Shutter, Lens Wizard, Auto Black, VMD (Video Motion Detection), 540 TVL and of course Bilinx technology. The latter allows a bidirectional communication with the cameras, reducing adjustment and programming times in them, since they can check status remotely, change of programming parameters and updates of versions of the camera. Such technology is unique in the medium.
Bilinx uses standard transmission cable and can transmit alarms, status messages, generate common templates, as well as download to multiple cameras with similar conditions, etc., without any interface or additional equipment, all from any point along the cable to which the camera is connected.
For the development of this project, an analysis and design process had to be carried out prior to the solution that lasted two years, during which time multiple brands and technologies were evaluated, resulting in the most complete and modern banking security configuration in the country. The process was carried out thanks to the joint work of officials from Banjercito, Bosch Mexico and the integrator.
The project considered the assembly of a monitoring management center, a modern video recording system, alarm control and new digital color cameras; installed by the company Network Group Total, S.A. de C.V. (www.ngs.com.mx).
It should be noted that the system allows immediate access to digitally stored information and the transfer of videos; Likewise, the report of the alarms is done in real time by the Bank's telecommunications network, in an efficient management of consumption of the bandwidth assigned to the security area (less than 64Kbps).
