Latin America. The Gualeguaychú Electric Cooperative is making progress in the implementation of solutions based on the Internet of Things (IoT), aimed at guaranteeing security and operational continuity in strategic sectors such as agriculture and health.
In the agricultural field, the cooperative develops technologies that allow real-time monitoring of production processes, managing critical resources and anticipating risks associated with irrigation, energy or connectivity. These tools seek to give greater predictability to producers, optimizing costs and reducing vulnerabilities in rural areas.
At the same time, CEG promotes low-cost telemedicine services, an alternative that facilitates access to care in remote communities and that depends on secure data transmission systems, backed by its state-of-the-art Data Center.
"Today the cooperative combines the strength of a solid company with the social commitment that defines us. We innovate to be more efficient, we diversify to grow and we generate alliances to create sustainable value," said Christian Nahuel Otero, president of the CEG.
These initiatives are integrated into a broader plan that includes satellite connectivity, digital certification and charging stations for electric vehicles, consolidating the cooperative as a key player in the adoption of technologies that strengthen critical infrastructure and expand operational security capabilities in the region.
