It has high image quality in H.264/MJPEG, H.265 formats with smart image filtering options, supports user preferences for portrait or landscape views as well as dark mode, and provides iPad users with split and slide-out view functionality.
In addition, it allows quick registration of the device using QR codes, gives users remote situational awareness through automatic alarm notifications, event and time-lapse queries, two-way audio communication and image capture. It has 2FA (two-factor authentication) for secure access to DirectIP NVR, 4-channel synchronized playback in 2 x 2 mode to quickly review various camera events, and dual streaming options for playback, allowing users to choose between lower mobile data consumption and higher image quality of up to 4K.
