The complete Entry video intercom system consists of only three components: a door controller, an external panel and an interior monitor. This plug-and-play system allows users to grant access and make informed decisions by visually identifying when someone requests to enter their building. This is achieved through a selection of monitors and dashboards that vary in functionality depending on the user's site requirements. Entry also allows daily access via token, PIN or code.
Entry can be installed as a standalone system and is an ideal choice for places where a simple and flexible intercom is needed. It is scalable up to 100 panels and 1,000 monitors, making it suitable for a wide variety of environments, such as educational facilities, commercial buildings, and multi-tenant housing.
Modern hardware can also be part of the broader security systems paxton has developed. These are Net2, a consolidated network access control system, and Paxton10, the latest innovation that combines access control with video management. When Entry is installed with either system, the user can benefit from a number of additional features including event notification, remote management, and integration of fire and intrusion alarms.
