This product features an advanced hardware architecture design and a variety of energy conservation technologies that reduce power consumption, while a full line of line interface processing units (LPU), with an interface density per slot of up to 18 x 100 GE that meets high-bandwidth traffic requirements.
The series provides a comprehensive operator-grade high-reliability architecture, supporting a multitude of reliability mechanisms, such as dual main processing unit (MPU) backup, hot standby mode (HSB), seamless routing (NSR), and successful restart (GR).
In addition, it has a hardware-based software integrity verification mechanism which prevents unauthorized software from running and ultimately creates a secure foundation for the network.
With terabit-level service processing power and a suite of security features, covering network address translation (NAT), carrier-level NAT (CGN), virtual private network (VPN), virtualization, and content security, HiSecEngine USG12000 equips enterprises to handle bandwidth-heavy traffic and various intelligent-age service threats.
