Armis and Viakoo
Armis, the agentless device security platform, and Viakoo, experts in automated IoT cyber hygiene, announced their partnership that brings together the discovery and remediation of vulnerabilities in IoT devices.
Although these devices help improve efficiency and reliability, they lack the management and security needed to keep them safe from cyberattacks, as is the case with most biomedical devices, operational technology (OT), and enterprise IoT have limited built-in security controls. Traditional security and asset management products also can't see IoT devices.
The Armis platform detects such non-compliant devices and Viakoo may trigger certain actions on them, such as firmware updates, configuration modifications, certificate updates, and password changes, which may remedy the risk. Armis would continue to monitor devices that cannot be repaired for suspicious or malicious behavior and quarantine them.
Both Armis and Viakoo platforms do not require the installation of any hardware in their environment and are installed in just minutes, using the infrastructure you already have, without changes to the network. Armis integrates with Viakoo and its other IT security and management systems just as easily, from your firewall to your NAC to your SIEM, enabling you to achieve greater value and more automated response.
