Axis presents a security camera that concentrates a series of l features to capture images in difficult situations. This is AXIS Q1615, a full HD camera that offers Lightfinder technology (for displaying colors in the dark) along with WDR with Forensic Capture (ability to compensate for lighting contrast and generate useful images as judicial evidence).
The function change from Lightfinder to WDR is automatic, ensuring the capture of details in light and dark areas of the screen at the same time. Image quality is an essential factor to allow reading vehicle and container patents, as well as viewing details at airports and bus and train stations. It is capable of capturing images at 60 frames per second.
Thanks to the Electronic Image Stabilization function, the camera reduces image vibrations caused by vehicle traffic or wind, as well as offers lens distortion correction and crash detection: if someone tries to commit acts of vandalism against the camera, an automatic alert is sent to the monitoring center, which can trigger the intervention of the police.
