Raytec has launched HTTP commands for the control of the VARIO IP PoE lighting network from a networked device. The commands provide more integration, with easy configuration at the level of a device interface rather than a software interface.
VARIO IP PoE is a system that allows remote configuration, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the CCTV lighting scheme 24 hours a day. Lighting can be activated by alarm to deter crime through other network devices such as cameras, detectors or VMS.
Users can take manual control of any illuminator to respond to live events or operate lighting in groups. VARIO IP PoE is also the first CCTV illuminator fully integrated with Milestone's XProtect video management system.
