Sony
Sony introduces the new Ipela Engine technology, Sony's processing system that allows network cameras to have high image quality that have increased image visibility due to its wide dynamic range of 130db (1920x1080) with Full HD quality at 30 frames per second.
This novelty is based on the combination of Sony's new integrated signal processing system, which achieves high image quality and its new CMOS image sensor "Exmor", which has allowed to further accelerate the signal reading and has improved noise reduction, this technology, Ipela Engine, will be included in the new security cameras from the fourth quarter of 2012.
The technology represents Sony's new concept, with image analysis capability and product quality. It is composed of four components that characterize it as they are the dynamic range that improves visibility, the contrast between the areas of light and shadow is corrected by combining images captured at different shutter speeds within a single frame. the high frame rate is achieved thanks to high-speed recording at 60 frames per second, double the number of standard frames so far.
Advanced DEPA enables the detection of moving objects, humans and vision-blocking objects, among others, through a detection alarm function that uses image processing and XDNR, (Excellent Dynamic Noise Reduction), supports the creation of clear images in low light situations due to the detection and elimination of noise within a single frame, in addition to the noise reduction of differential signals in consecutive frames.
