Samsung's new PTZ dome camera with integrated infrared is weatherproof and with 37x optical zoom, the SCP-2370RH model is capable of recording high-resolution images day and night.
It has IP66 rating of resistance to inclement weather and is equipped with fan and heater.
At night, or in unsuitable lighting conditions, infrared LEDs are automatically activated and offer effective illumination with a range of up to 100 meters. The intensity of the infrared is automatically adjusted to provide an appropriate level, depending on the zoom applied.
It also incorporates Samsung's W-5 DSP chipset, benefits from noise reduction technology, SSNRIII, and is able to save up to 70% hard drive space and minimize bandwidth requirements when viewing videos over a network.
Including eight zones of privacy masking, motion detection and light peak compensation (HLC) technology, this model is equipped with DIS (digital image stabilization) technology, capable of correcting the results of an unstable camera due to wind effects or vibration of buildings.
