Belden company presents its new ultra-high density patch panel group 1U (10 GX) with 48 ports available in a single rack unit. This product is designed to be used within the Belden IBDN10GX system and overcome the challenges of transmitting signals at rates of 10 Gb.
It is ideal for very high density environments, such as equipment distribution areas or in data centers (TIA-942 standard); even when used with Belden's patch cord management solution, it can quadruple the effective density compared to other 48-port 2U patches.
To make transmission rates of 10 Gb possible, signals must be transmitted at minimum frequencies of 500 MHz, however Belden guarantees transmission rates of 625 MHz including all channel components and interconnection points.
To avoid the ANEXT (Alien Near End Cross Talk), a consequence of high transfer frequencies, Belden designed seven patents that guarantee the cancellation of internal and external interference.
