Reverse transfer printing
Magicard's new Prima 4 printer uses reverse transfer printing technology. The images are printed on a thin retransfer film in an "inverted image" and the heat is transferred to the card.
The quality of the final card is comparable to off-set lithographic printing, but with the advantage that each card can be different.
This printer is equipped with a smart card encoder which supports: MIFARE ®, DESFire ®, HID: iCLASS ®, Legic®, and contact chip .
