Johnson Controls is the global leader that brings ingenuity to the places where people live, work and travel. By integrating technologies, products and services, we create intelligent environments that redefine the relationship between people and their surroundings.  Our team of 140,000 employees creates a more comfortable, safe and sustainable world through our products and services for more than 200 million vehicles, 12 million homes and one million commercial buildings.

Our commitment to sustainability drives our environmental responsibility and corporate awareness in our workplaces and communities, and in the products and services we provide to customers.

Our path to sustainability began in 1885 with the invention of the electric thermostat, which allowed companies to have and provide more comfortable temperatures in rooms and rooms while increasing energy efficiency. Today, we continue to cement sustainability in all of our businesses.

We manufacture, install, integrate, and service air conditioning, refrigeration, security and fire detection systems, lighting and access control systems, and wireless networks for buildings. Our knowledge and experience contribute to the operational performance and comfort of buildings, improve energy efficiency and reduce waste generation, both in our customers' facilities and in our own.

We enhance the home environment through our York® heating and air conditioning systems, which keep families comfortable and maximize energy efficiency. In the workplace, our heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment reduces energy and operating costs. In addition, our growing offer of applications for wireless networks continues to allow us to reduce installation costs. We are also developing technology that will allow our refrigeration appliances and equipment to make greater use of alternative, environmentally friendly refrigerants.

We have the most extensive team of technical service providers in the industry. Our technical service capabilities cover much more than the maintenance of control systems and mechanical equipment. We remotely monitor the heating, ventilation and air conditioning, fire and security systems of hundreds of our customers' facilities, and this allows us to take steps to resolve problems before they become emergencies. Our predictive technologies are capable of detecting imminent breakdowns in mechanical equipment. Our customers include thousands of hospitals, schools, airports, office buildings, data centers, government facilities, high-tech manufacturing centers, pharmaceutical laboratories, and other non-residential buildings.

We partner long-term with our customers, often for the entire life of the building. Johnson Controls maintains and manages entire portfolios of facilities for global corporations, totaling more than 92 million square meters. Together with our knowledge and experience in building maintenance, these services provide Johnson Controls with an unparalleled ability to reduce the overall costs associated with our clients' real estate portfolios.

The concept of "smart environments" is not only applied to the things we manufacture, but is also a result of how we manufacture them. We are committed to using manufacturing processes that are environmentally friendly by reducing the costs associated with raw materials, waste generation and management, and the costs associated with regulations and regulations.
