S2 Security
S2 Security launches the S2 MicroNode Plus, the company's last two reader panels for the S2 NetBox series of web-based access control and monitoring events. The new product includes power option (PoE+), storage of up to 150,000 cardholder credentials, and fast processing.
The powerful processor supports up to two portals, four relay outputs with wet/dry selection, four inputs with programmable monitoring levels, and one temperature input.
Additionally, it includes an auxiliary output of 12VDS for powering devices such as PIR Request to Exit outputs, or audible alarms. Access control and events from devices are added to the S2 NetBox web interface for centralized system management.
The S2 MicroNode Plus is also ideal for modernization solutions. The key update for the two reader panels can be done without having to replace the readers, or the locking inputs and outputs.
