AMG
AMG Systems, with a presence in the UK and the US, introduced the new AMG Secure-Net SFP Carrier, a plug-and-play IP security appliance that offers 128-bit encryption to protect traffic on any IP network.
Designed as an SFP carrier, the Secure-Net™ is compatible with most standard MSA-compliant SFP modules (100Mb or 1Gb), allowing existing equipment to be reused and easily deployed in different types of infrastructure, whether over fiber optic or copper lines.
Installation is simple: it plugs into standard SFP ports on AMG switches, media converters, or third-party equipment—including third-party switches, routers, and servers—without the need for external power, saving space and reducing cabling costs.
The Secure-Net™ SFP Carrier supports static end-to-end IPsec in transport mode, offering 128-bit AES-GCM-ESP encrypted network links in both point-to-point and multipoint configurations.
Steve Clarke, CEO of AMG, said: "Network security is more important than ever. With the AMG Secure-Net™ SFP Carrier, any device that requires the highest level of protection can be secured efficiently and cost-effectively."
