AJAX
The company announces the introduction of the Ajax DoorBell, a video doorbell with built-in Artificial Intelligence, infrared sensor and management through applications. The Ajax DoorBell sets a milestone in the video doorbell experience by merging continuous operation with cutting-edge security features. The device is optimally incorporated into the Ajax ecosystem and ensures outstanding efficiency and reliable safety. The DoorBell is available for order now.
Professional protection at the main entrance
The DoorBell optimally fulfils its main purpose: to welcome visitors without keeping them waiting. When a visitor rings the doorbell, an Ajax user receives an alert, identifies who is at the door, and has the possibility to start a conversation using an Ajax app.
The DoorBell also functions as a surveillance security camera: it notifies about the movement of people, animals or vehicles, and records video on the Ajax NVR or Ajax Cloud Storage, which will soon be available among Ajax services. The device also informs security companies even without Wi-Fi, via the Ajax hub.
High image quality and two-way audio communication
The Ajax DoorBell offers excellent image quality. It features a 4 MP camera with a CMOS sensor with HDR technology and IR illumination at a distance of up to 6 meters, so the image is always sharp regardless of lighting conditions.
Object identification with artificial intelligence
It has a built-in Artificial Intelligence that identifies people, animals and vehicles. Users have the ability to customize detection and receive alerts for all objects or only for a specific category.
Increased Wi-Fi connection with a reliable backup communication channel
Wi-Fi is the primary means of communication, with a distance of up to 500 meters if there are no barriers, and up to 30 meters even through concrete walls.
This is more than enough for stable operation, for example, in a large private home. For installers, this means fewer installation problems, as there is no need to place the router directly near the entrance. Even if the Wi-Fi connection is lost, the DoorBell is still connected to the Ajax hub thanks to the backup communication channel: the Jeweller and Wings radio protocols. Both proprietary protocols are designed to detect interference and inhibition, with built-in frequency hops for added protection.
Instant access to images
Thanks to the patented JetSparrow video protocol, video is instantly streamed from the device directly to Ajax apps with minimal delay.
Functionality
Its modern design, available in four neutral shades, enhances any outdoor environment. In addition, a colored LED ring around the button provides a sophisticated and functional component at the same time: it orients users and indicates the current condition of the device.
