The new Fargo HDP6600 printer and encoder features ID card retransfer technology, which prints faster than similar products on the market, halving the printing time of the first ID card, while doubling overall performance.
This product is part of the sixth generation of printers that work with HID Global's renowned retransfer technology, to accelerate the printing of high volumes of cards, reduce the cost per card and offer better energy efficiency.
This printer combines iON or "automatic ignition" technology (with patent pending), with other advances to simultaneously allow film printing and card retransfer processes. This solution reduces the printing time of the first card to 60 seconds and allows to produce up to 230 cards per hour.
Thanks to the printer mechanism, it is also not necessary to continuously heat the transfer roller, which improves reliability and reduces energy consumption. Thus, this printer is easier to maintain, less expensive to operate and more flexible in a wide range of applications.
