Fujitsu launches PalmSecure ID Login, a new biometric authentication solution, which helps organizations protect their networks against unauthorized access, while reducing the risk of hacker and phishing attacks.
PalmSecure ID Login integrates Fujitsu's highly secure Palm Vein read biometric authentication technology into corporate network environments using Microsoft Active Directory, helping to increase IT security and making it easier for users to start the system without needing to remember complex passwords, which must be changed from time to time.
To log in to a PC or authenticate for access to the internal system, PlamSecure ID Login users simply run their hand over a contactless vein reader scanner, which is already integrated into several LIFEBOOK laptops and stylistIC 2-in-1 tablets. In addition, registered users can sign in from any device within a corporate network, as PalmSecure ID Login is connected to Microsoft Active Directory, which centrally manages and stores all access data, including biometric data.
