August Home has announced a number of new features for the products that make up the August Smart Home Access Solution: the August Smart Lock, the August Doorbell Cam and the August Smart Keypad.
The August Smart Lock activates contextual alerts for Auto-Unlock. Automatic unlocking allows the lock to open automatically when the user arrives at the home, eliminating the need to take out the phone or keys. New auto-unlock contextual alerts provide users with real-time updates when Auto-Unlock has been activated and communicated with the smart lock.
The August Smart Keypad allows you to provide weekly access to the person in charge of cleaning or to Airbnb guests or even neighbors while on vacation. Smart lock owners can choose to assign temporary, recurring or permanent entry codes from a smartphone. On the other hand, the August Doorbell Cam doorbell camera allows users, through alerts of images that reach their Smartphone, to see who is at the door and decide if they want to open or not.
