Bosch introduces a new, more user-friendly interface for Access Professional Edition (APE) software that enables even more efficient use of its state-of-the-art feature set.
The new APE 3.4 allows installers and system integrators to manage access control. It goes far beyond locking and unlocking doors. It allows a large number of functionalities from reception registration, credential registration and entry control, alarm management and video verification.
Although the software solution has retained all its functionality, its new interface offers a more streamlined and user-friendly experience, as it reduces several potential distracting features by using a smaller range of colors. Other changes include a more efficient and faster update and reducing the number of obsolete icons and toolbars to make navigation even easier, while maintaining the capabilities of the access control solution.
APE is a complete and comprehensive security solution as it can be integrated with other building management and safety functions, such as elevator management and intrusion protection.
APE 3.4 is ideal for accessing medium-scale access control needs in industrial, commercial or retail buildings, especially when the complete and more complex set of Bosch's Building Integration System (BIS) is not required.
