Last year HID introduced the OMNIKEY® 6321, a new portable contactless smart card USB reader with iCLASS® support. This device has the size and shape of a key and works with "HID on the desktop" solutions. This reader has a dual interface for connection to a personal computer that writes and reads on a 13.56 MHz contactless smart card and on any contact smart card the size of a SIM card. It has support for HID MIFARE and iCLASS, as well as for iso 14443 A/B and 15693 standards for contactless cards, and also have the USB 2.0 interface and is compatible with USB 1.1.
