It is then that infrared cameras provide black and white night images, the new Color At Night series captures full-color images in low-light environments and even in total darkness with the help of the integrated warm LED light. This leap in capacity offers homeowners and businesses greater nighttime security and peace of mind, providing much clearer videos in greater detail that can help identify wrongdoers after a security incident.
By replacing IR illuminators with newer technologies, the Color At Night series eliminates IR reflections from rain or snow, while the use of PoE (Power over Ethernet) and integrated light allow installation in places without lighting or power without the need for new high-voltage wiring. This can greatly reduce the cost of surveillance installations on entire properties, as both the camera and LED light are powered by low-voltage wiring that does not require an authorized electrician or conduit.
It is an ideal solution for properties with little or no outdoor lighting, or dark places such as alleys or gardens. Users can even adjust the intensity of the LED lighting, so no location is off limits. The Color At Night series includes 4 MP (megapixel) and 8 MP models with a 2.8mm fixed lens in bullet or turret style, plus 8MP models in bullet or turret style with a motorized varifocal lens from 2.7mm to 13.5mm.8MP models can record up to 4K resolution at 25 frames per second. The 4 MP models come with a 32GB micro SD memory card and the 4MP and 8MP models support micro SD cards up to 512GB.
