Altronix's new NetWay Spectrum series takes power and fiber to the next level. Indoor and outdoor models include hardened PoE Ethernet switches and multi-port media converters with or without integral power.
The units can be applied with conventional single fiber or multi-mode, also, with composite cable, which combines fiber with copper to deliver power and data simultaneously.
Among its main features is to convert Ethernet to Fiber (1000Base-X/SX/LX), while providing PoE/PoE+ to a connected device. It has a 1Gb SFP port and two 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports of up to 30W each.
It also has 48VDC input for 56VDC, Power LED and Link connection indicators, recommended for Altronix SFP modules: P1MM, for use with Fiber in multi-mode (550m) and P1SM10, for use with Fiber in single mode (10km).
