Dahua Technology, has presented its new panoramic network camera with infrared IPC-PFW8601-A180, with 180-degree vision, allowing to capture a wide surveillance area.
The IPC-PFW8601-A180 has three 2 Mpx sensors that work in tandem to create the 180-degree range display, including real-time image splicing technology. It can replace multiple single-sensor cameras, covering the same area and lowering the cost of installing cameras, as well as storage and maintenance.
Contrast and brightness adjustments can be made on each sensor so that the camera can provide a completely sharp panoramic view.
It also offers support for a mechanical infrared cut filter for day/night vision, and true WDR (120 dB), making it ideal for use in applications facing fluctuating light conditions. In addition, it has Dahua Starlight technology, which allows to deliver usable video captured with a minimum ambient light.
