Qnap Systems' new TS-x59 Pro II Turbo NAS series of servers (TS-459 Pro II, TS-559 Pro II and TS-659 Pro II) showcase the 1.8GHz dual-core Intel® Atom™ D525 processor with 1GB ddriii RAM (expandable up to 3GB) and support for SATA hard drives at 6Gbps, which makes them faster and more expandable.
The TS-x59 Pro II supports up to 18TB of network storage and features hot-swappable drives, RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 6, 5+ spare, 6+spare, 10+ spare, online RAID capacity expansion, and RAID-level migration for data redundancy.
Another novelty is the USB 3.0 interface that offers greater performance to internal and external hard drives. In addition, they add the new version 3.4 of the NAS management software which supports end-to-end server applications such as file sharing, FTP server, web server and video surveillance.
