Security Platform
Security Center 5.0 is the latest version of Genetec's unified security platform, which allows customers to configure and manage IP encoders, recording schedule and camera settings.
One of the most important features of this version is the embedded inclusion of the recording engine and state-of-the-art video streams in the unified platform. In addition, it supports the integration of third-party intrusion panels through an intrusion device protocol or API allowing users to request intrusion reports for such incident alarm panels.
Considering the user interface, Security Center 5.0 supports collaboration tasks for operators, so they can share monitoring and reporting with other operators, support for improved image previewing, and advanced video caching.
