The people counter on Samsung's SND-3080C camera is part of the intelligent video analysis feature and works by simply drawing a virtual line or frame in one area of the scene. From this configuration, the dome counts the number of people crossing the line or entering the box, and the data can be transmitted in XML or CSV format at the selected intervals to a default location.
This camera designed for installation on surfaces, additionally has a built-in IR mechanical filter that allows it to capture and transmit images with a resolution of up to 4CIF (704 x 576) in real time and, the multiple transmission function that offers the option to use H.264, MPEG-4 or MJPEG compression.
In addition to the various forms of remote viewing of the captured images, users of the SND-3080C can use a web browser that provides access to live video streams and data stored in the SD memory card slot built into the dome, as well as full access to the OSD menu system.
