The Axis M7001 conforms to the H.264 compression standard. Its compact design makes it ideal for the integration of a smaller or greater number of analog CCTV surveillance cameras into an IP-based video surveillance system. This encoder converts analog video signals from any type of analog camera into digital video streams that are then sent over an IP-based network.
