Hikvision announced its new range of acoustic imagers (DS-QAAI264G1-P and DS-QAAI264G1-PG), designed specifically for applications in power and power environments.
These solutions convert sounds into visual maps for quick and accurate identification of risks in industrial environments, thanks to Hikvision's acoustic imager that combines arrays of 64 microphones and components to convert sounds into dynamic visual maps, facilitating the rapid identification of problem areas in industries such as petrochemicals and electric power, providing precision in the detection of gas leaks or partial discharges.
It should be noted that this type of technology encourages predictive maintenance, improves maintenance efficiency, breaks traditional boundaries and reduces economic losses. It also allows:
- High-precision localization: localization of sound sources and visual images, high-precision positioning of gas leak or discharge positions, and visual presentation via HD cameras. The positioning accuracy can reach 1°.
- Ultra-wide frequency: It can locate sound sources in the frequency range from audible sound to ultrasound (5 KHz to 72 KHz).
- 24/7 real-time monitoring: It supports IP67 waterproof level and can be used in various outdoor and indoor scenarios.
